Job responsibilities:

You will play a key role in keeping our processing plant running smoothly and safely and Perform preventive, corrective, and predictive maintenance on production equipment and plant facilities to ensure optimal operation, minimize unplanned downtime, and comply with food safety, quality, and industrial safety standards.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform preventive and corrective maintenance on production equipment (vacuum sealers, band saws, dicers, slicers, grinders, etc.)
  • Carry out lubrication, mechanical adjustments, and electrical inspections according to preventive routines.
  • Diagnose failures in mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, and vacuum systems.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety standards (HACCP, GMP) and follow all safety procedures and proper use of PPE.
  • Respond to maintenance work orders promptly & record maintenance activities in reports or maintenance systems.
  • Assist in the installation, setup, and commissioning of new equipment & support predictive maintenance programs.

Preferred experience:

  • Technical degree in Industrial Maintenance, Electromechanics, Mechatronics, or related field (Equivalent experience may be considered)
  • 2–5 years in industrial maintenance, Experience in the food or pharmaceutical industry
  • Knowledge of USDA/SQF/SOP/GMPs (is a plus).
  • Basic to intermediate electrical and electronic systems, pneumatics and hydraulics
  • Reading electrical and mechanical diagrams
  • Must be able to read and write in English to perform necessary documentation.
